Safeguarding Information
At Shawley Community Primary Academy we adhere to all national and local polices in regard to Safeguarding Children and Young People. Shawley Community Primary is committed to gender, racial, religious and disability equality in every part of school life. Shawley Community Primary is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
For information about What to do if you're worried a child is being abused, please read the guidance document as published by the DfE.
The LEO Academy Trust Safeguarding and child protection policy is written in collaboration with all DSL's across the Trust. As such this is the policy we follow at Shawley Community Primary.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
All staff (including supply staff, volunteers and governors) must ensure that they are aware of these procedures. Parents and carers are welcome to read the Policy on request. Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child’s welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with his/her parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child’s welfare.Shawley Community Primary Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy 2022-23LEO Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy and Procedure
